Before we get on with today's fanfic, I've got some fun bonus content. For whatever reason, youtube recommended to me a video of some woman reading Chapter 1 of Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone in Korean. And then it offered an automatic transcript; better yet, it offered to autotranslate the autogenerated transcript into English for me. That was too much fun for me to pass up!
Make A Wish

I've been dreaming of taking a trip to Europe recently. That's likely to stay a dream for quite a while, though; I don't have nearly enough money, and even if I did, I couldn't get the vacation time. But it has put me in the mood for a fanfic where Harry Potter travels around Europe and the world.

Did I read any fanfic today? Of course not; I spent all day fiddling with the website layout! Thankfully, I have a backlog of things I'd previously posted on a fanfic blog that hasn't been online since the service hosting it shut down years ago.

Harry Potter and the Game

Reddit reminded me of a really good Harry Potter gamer fanfic. So might as well make it my rec for today. This one is much darker and better written than the usual "what if Harry's life was a computer game?" concept. Refreshing.
MLP Time Loops

I've been running around all day, so I'm not in any particular fanfic mood at all. Have a link to MLP time loops by Saphroneth. In over 2,000,000 words, this fimfic crosses ponies over with pretty much everything, and contains all possible plots somewhere in it's depths. The first time I read it I marathoned it in one stretch; this is not advised. But it makes a pretty good sampling platter; don't like one plot? Keep reading and another will be along shortly.
No One Goes There

Jenny Nicholson's youtube on dark internet rituals put me in the mood for some horror fanfic. I've never enjoyed blood and guts, so most mlp dark fimfic doesn't do it for me. Here's one of the few that does. Extremely creepy, while never doing anything that would get it more than a G rating.
Petrification Proliferation

I'm in a Harry Potter fanfic mood today. How about one where, for a change, all of the adults are responsible and competent?
Twilights World

You know what? Have Twilights World by grouchopony. The writing isn't all that spectacular, and it's a pony on earth fimfic starring a Gary Stu who was raised as Catholic as I was. Not the best fanfic, but I'm busy sulking that I don't believe in soulbonding or fictionkin and I'm certain rereading this bit of wish fulfillment will make me feel better.
Best Night Ever Extended Edition

Today's fanfic is so old it was never even posted on fimfiction.net at all. Never The Less, Best Night Ever Extended Edition by Stainless Steel Fox is still a really satisfying fixfic to me.
Undead Robot Bug Crusaders

Today's fimfic is Undead Robot Bug Crusaders by Banjo64. While everything about the CMC and the changelings is now out of date, if you enjoy fanfic about the crusaders, this is one of your better options.
The Wheel and the Butterfly A Dan X Pinkie Pie Saga

Time for the fanfic today. To enjoy this fimfic you need to know a bit about My Little Pony, but almost nothing about Dan Vs. at all. I've posted my love for The Wheel and the Butterfly by Justice3442 on other platforms. I love the character development, and the humour makes me laugh out loud even the fifth time I read it. If you know enough about My Little Pony that you can identify the main characters, you should stop what you're doing and read this right now.
Atonement

Do you enjoy godmode Harry Potter and a bit of character bashing of the deserved? Is robst one of your guilty pleasures? Do you wish I'd stop asking questions and get on with the fanfic for today already? If the answer to all of those things is yes, you'll probably enjoy Atonement by Arrow Straight as much as I did.
