Well, I might as well start a trend of expanding from my core fandoms for a while.
The most interesting thing about this one, to me, is reading a British person write Americans, living in America. The vast majority of the time I read fanfics written the other way; especially in Harry Potter. While A.A. Pessimal does a fine job, it's just...slightly different, somehow. Gives those of us in North America a feel for what all the British folks in the Harry Potter fandom are complaining about.
